Barbara and Laurence are supposed to be getting married on Friday. Between now and then, Laurence will let Brad talk him into “one last fling.” Barbara will spill coffee on Dave… who promptly falls in love with her. Dave’s girlfriend, Carmella, will probably have something to say about that. Lily, the maid of honour, is 9 months pregnant and Peter, the father is just finding out about it. The geeky Neal is crushing it with the mysterious (and equally geeky) Gam3ergurl. Dave’s mother, June, is living out loud on twitter – much to Dave’s embarrassment.
Who will hook up? Who will end up alone? That’s up to you!
Crushing It! is a romantic comedy for the twitter age. It’s a week long ‘live’ semi-improvised story told by the characters themselves using social networking. And the best part? You get to decide how it all ends…
Monday February 1, 2010
Not BigD4Dave's best day ever. He lost his job and his car. His cell phone got coffee logged, his mother got a Twitter account and then his girlfriend Carmella kicked him out.
Barbara didn't have a stellar day either. Her wedding dress didn't come close to fitting, her maid of honour realized that baby is due on wedding day and she spilled coffee over some guy's phone.
Hmm... do I see two lives about to intersect?
Then there are the lives that already intersected.
Lily "lottalily" Green found out that she'd miscalculated her due date, which was the same moment Peter Hollings discovered he's gonna be a dad.
Groom Laurence announced that he loves Barbara and wants to marry her, just before creating a fake twitter account in the name BootyWatchman and joining old pal, Brad in posting pics to BootyWatch.blogspot.com.
Meanwhile, young Neal and Gam3rgurl have been crushing it in the comment section of Gary Vaynerchuk's blog. They've made a bet. First one to get Gary to follow them on Twitter pays for the other's trip to Miami to see Gary speak. Poor Neal, he just lost!
Tomorrow on Crushing It!:
A reconnection to an old flame, a trip to the hospital, spilled red wine and a whole lot more.
Don't just watch. These people need your guidance. Help them, @them, save them. The ending it in your hands.
